
Server Type: This setting is determined at the time the account is created.For more information, see Using Identities. Click on this button to set up and manage any other identities for this account. In Thunderbird, you can set up more than one identity per-account.
Manage Identities: An identity is a configuration of name, address, signature, outgoing server, and many other corresponding settings.
Outgoing Server: If you have multiple outgoing servers set up, use this menu to choose which server to use with this identity. The vCard will then be attached to all messages you send from this identity. Enable this setting and click Edit Card to enter the data in your vCard. Attach my vCard to messages: A vCard is a virtual business card often attached to email messages. Signature text: If you'd like to append a signature to your message, enter it here or attach a signature file by check marking Attach the signature from a file instead. Organization: If you'd like to state the organization your address belongs to, enter it in this field, and it will be attached to messages you send from the above address. Reply-to Address: If you want replies to your messages to be sent to an address different from that in the From field, enter that address here. Email Address: When sending a message, this is the email address that will appear in the From field. Your Name: This is the name that will appear in messages you send in the From field. The name will appear in the folder pane as well as other areas in Thunderbird where you need to navigate accounts. Account name: Here, you can name the account.
